Day-1. Arrival in Guwahati | Road to Shillong (98 Kilometers, 4 Hours)

There will be a brief introduction by the trip captain at the designated meeting spot in Guwahati at 10:30 a.m Our next stop is the picturesque hill station of Shillong, located in the middle of Meghalaya. Because of its unparalleled beauty, it is often referred to as the “Scotland of the East. When we get to Shillong, we’ll settle into our lodgings and take it easy for a while. We’ll spend the evening cafe hopping and perusing the wares at Shillong’s local market. Staying in Shillong for the night In Guwahati, bikes would be distributed to the riders.
Day-2 Drive from Shillong to Shnongpdeng via Laitlum (88 Kilometers, 3 Hours)
Details
We will depart for Dawki after an early breakfast; this town is well-known for the gorgeous turquoise Dawki River, which flows as smooth as glass Along the way, we’d stop at the stunning KrangShuri waterfall, one of the most stunning natural sights in all of Meghalaya. We’ll also check the Laitlum Canyons, an excellent viewpoint across the Meghalayan valleys We will set our tent beside the Dawki River in the tranquil village of Shnongpdeng, which is just outside Dawki proper. There will be a bonfire later on tonight After dinner, we set up camp at Shnongpdeng for the night.
Day-3 Adventure Activities | Drive towards Cherrapunji (90 Kilometers, 3 Hours)
Details
After a hearty breakfast, we plan on spending the day indulging in a variety of water-based thrills, including cliff-jumping, boating, and snorkelling in the glistening river We’ll then continue on to Cherrapunji, a town famous for its live root bridges and the torrential rains it receives annually We’ll be crossing the Indo-Bangla border en route to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in India, which looks like a large orchard with green canopies stretching across the landscape. Incredible panoramas of the Bangladeshi plains may be seen from the village as well When we get to Cherrapunji, we’ll head to our accommodation for the night.
Day-4 Trek to Double Decker Bridge | Overnight stay in Cherrapunji
Details
The Seven Sisters Falls is a stunning waterfall with seven distinct drops that cascades over a rocky precipice. After that, we’ll go see the Mawsmai Caves, which are a major attraction in Cherrapunji. The limestone caves are adorned with breathtaking stalactites, adding to their otherworldly allure We’ll start our journey to the famous Double Decker Living Roots Bridge by heading towards the village of Nongriat. There’s a rushing river, a swarm of beautiful butterflies, and some beautiful woodlands along the way After that, we’ll return to the inn. Staying at Cherrapunji for the night.
Day-5 Drive from Cherrapunji to Shillong (54 Kilometers, 1 Hour)
Details
We’ll be leaving our accommodation in the morning after a quick breakfast and making our way to Shillong hour first stop along the way will be at the Nohkalikai waterfall, which at 1,115 feet is the highest plunge waterfall in all of Meghalaya. Wei Swadong, one of the most stunning waterfalls in all of Meghalaya, with three distinct drops We will be spending the night at a hotel after we arrive in Shillong.
Day-6 Shillong to Guwahati
Details
Soon after breakfast, we’ll be leaving the hotel and returning to Guwahati. On the way, we’d stop by Umiam Lake, one of the largest man-made lakes in Meghalaya and a famous tourist destination After arriving in Guwahati, the group members will disperse and return to their home towns at their own predetermined times The tour has come to an end Consult with your handler and schedule your return flight for today.
Things To Carry

Day backpack (20 – 30 Ltrs): When you are on a local sightseeing tour, you are required to carry only a few necessary items and for that, you need a day backpack as you will leave your bigger one at your designated stay.


Outdoor Shoes: A comfortable shoe is required when traveling outdoors. They shouldn’t be chunky, instead, they should be lightweight and sturdy.

Sun Screen (SPF 40+): To avoid sunburns, you need to put on sunscreen.

Floaters or Sandals: When you are spending your day at leisure, a good pair of sandals and floaters will help you to move freely.

Sunglasses / People who use spectacles (Use Photochromic glasses instead of contact lenses): Photochromatic glasses are specs that are designed to transform into anti-glare shades depending upon exposure to the sun. They are good when it comes to eye protection but one can also opt for clip-on glasses etc.

3 Quick Dry Tees: You must keep at least three pairs of quick dry tees.

1 Poncho: A poncho is an evolved form of a raincoat that provides coverage to your body as well as your bag and ensures total water protection from rain.

Mobile charger / Power bank: Although you'll get electricity at most places, it is always advisable to carry a charged power bank in case of emergencies.

Quick-dry towel: A quick-dry towel will help in maintaining proper hygiene. It must dry quickly because the wet fabric will only increase the chance of bacterial growth.

Sanitizer: Prevent the risk of infections and maintain proper hand hygiene by making sure you carry a hand sanitizer.

Sun Cap: A lightweight sun cap with side flaps is perfect to keep your head cool and avoid sunburns on sunny days.

Water Bottle 1 Lt.: Hydration is extremely important when it comes to traveling To carry a water bottle that you can refill is a must.

Bag for all your Toiletries: A bag with all your essentials including napkins, toothpaste, sanitizers, paper soap, etc should be carried in a ziplock bag.

Personal Basic Medical Kit: Carrying a medical kit with bandages, Dettol, and medication for headaches, nausea, etc is necessary.

Documents: Identification proofs like Aadhar Card, and driver's License.

Travel Laundry Bag: In case your clothes get wet or your garments don’t dry, you can carry them in the bag and keep them separate from your dry clothes.

Camera: This should be obvious. To make sure that you get to capture all the great moments from your trip. Make sure that you have enough storage and some extra batteries as well.
